We recommend members use WA Gives website to validate the  nonprofit and confirm grant funds will remain in Clark County.

How to Nominate
  • Members in good standing of 100 Women Who Care Clark County are eligible to nominate nonprofits.
    If members are behind in donation giving, then they will not be able to nominate or vote. Please reference the member nonprofit nomination form for details to nominate and frequently asked questions. 

  • Members attending our Gather & Grant events may nominate a nonprofit. There is no limit on how many members may nominate a nonprofit.

  • ​Members will vote by ballot to select one of the three nominated nonprofits to receive all the donations.
    There is no proxy voting.

Member Criteria

Members will prepare a 3-minute pitch why the nonprofit should receive our donations.

Members capture all nonprofit details including Federal ID (EIN) so they can receive online donations from Grapevine, our member and donation portal. 

Please consider covering these common talking points in your pitch:

  • What is the mission of the organization?

  • Who does the nonprofit serve in Clark County, WA?

  • How will the funds received help the community? Is there a special project or role they need to fill?

  • Why is this organization important to you? Speak from the heart and come prepared.​​​
     

Nonprofit Criteria
  • Serving a need in Clark County, WA

  • A registered 501(c)3 organization

  • Established 501(c)3 for at least one year (no start-ups)

  • Nonprofits’ mission must not be for religious or political purposes

In addition
  • Nominations are collected at each Gather & Grant event. 

  • International or National organizations will only be considered if they can confirm our donations will be used for a chapter/project in Clark County. 

  • The nonprofit with the greatest number of votes will be the recipient of the total funds donated and will be ineligible to receive funds from 100 Women Who Care Clark County for 2 (two) years.

  • ​Winning Nonprofit: Representatives from the winning nonprofit are invited to the next Gather & Grant event to receive our donation and explain how the grant will be used. 


Note: 100 Women Who Care Clark County reserves the right to amend these eligibility criteria when appropriate, without consultation with the nominated nonprofits.

Membership Commitment

To contribute $100 every quarter ($400 annually)

To contribute even if we missed the event

To nominate nonprofits and vote

To invite other women to join the giving circle
